Mr Chan, aged 26, was appointed as an alternate director to Dr Chan Kwok Keung, Charles in July 2010. He graduated from Trinity College of Arts and Sciences of Duke University, USA, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science – International Relations. Mr Chan previously worked in investment banking division of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.. He is currently an executive director of ITC Corporation Limited (0372.HK) which is a substantial shareholder of the Company as disclosed in the section headed “Interests and Short Positions of Substantial Shareholders/ Other Persons” in the Director’s Report; and ITC Properties Group Limited (0199.HK), a director of Burcon NutraScience Corporation (“Burcon”), the securities of which are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (BU.TSX) and Frankfurt Stock Exchange (WKN 157793-FWB) and an advisor of the Bisagni Environmental Enterprise (BEE Inc.). He was an alternate director to Ms Chau Mei Wah, Rosanna in Burcon until 23 April 2010. Mr Chan is also the son of Dr Chan Kwok Keung, Charles, a non-executive director of the Company.
